The food is seasoned to perfection and the portions are crazy! Tonight, just like every other visit, the service was incredible ...Chef Charles is a beast! In fact, the service was so good, I had to hug Ms. Sadiqa who doesn't even realize she really made my day. My favorite soul food spot on this side. Treat them nice!
Baby listen when I tell you this plate did no disappoint!!!. She definitely did that. I ordered my food inside wait was about 15 minutes I got the chicken dinner and when the guy handed me the plate I'm like ain't no way this my order. Honey I got in that car and went to town lol I couldn't even make it home. I mean EVERYTHING was great. Chicken fresh fried and crispy. Cabbage was A1 had nice size turkey pieces. Macaroni was good I had the cheese crust all throughout omg. Even the plain white rice was good and the cornbread muffin was hitting. I've definitely had some nasty soul food places In The atl but this is definitely not 1 I'm sure I will be coming here often cause baby I got to take people here to show them how good this food was. On top of this being just a google search I'm happy about it popping up. Keep up the great work yall. Great staff. Great communication and manners. Then man even brung my food to me personally. Nice lil spot and area played son throw back music in there like it was getting you happy or ready for the food. Definitely got to see if I can write my name on the wall when I go back. Write a great brief review for "She Did That Soul Food Kitchen" Usually I don't go for soul food, but I'm a regular at the barbershop right next to this restaurant, and one of the barbers had a Salisbury steak with rice. When I saw it, it looked amazing and I had to try it. So I went and it was just as great as it looked and the staff were friendly! I got the Salisbury steak with sides of jambalaya and green beans. Amazing! Highly recommended

Chef Charles took my order and we decided on 2pc wing basket, catfish basket, whiting basket and 4pc tender basket. You can add a 6pc Shrimp to any basket for $5.99. Each basket comes with French Fries and Slaw. The service was great and the food was delicious. The ambience was moderate with people streaming in and out placing lunch orders. I'd definitely recommend this Soul Food Restaurant for lunch or dinner. It was the Fried Shrimp for me.
